Meghan Malloy was born Meghan Heimbecker.  She is a conservatory trained and Barrymore nominated actress.  Meghan received her BFA in Acting from Point Park College's Conservatory of Performing Arts (now known as Point Park University) as well as her Equity card from the Pittsburgh Playhouse Repertory.  After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Meghan moved to NYC and was soon working professionally in the theatre. 

In 2005 Meghan moved from New York to Philadelphia.  She often works with the Walnut Street Theatre as a teaching artist and has created an anti-bullying theatre curriculum for middle school students.


Fall 2012: Meghan will play various roles in the world premiere comedy, The Exit Interview by William Missouri Downs, produced by InterAct Theatre Company and directed by Seth Rozin.  Recently, Meghan played Jean in Dead Man's Cell Phone with the Actors Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona during February and March 2012: www.atphx.org

2011 saw Meghan play Mary in the world premiere of Michael Archangel at the Fulton Opera House, Olivia in Twelfth Night as part of a co-production between Theater of the Seventh Sister and The Rockford Plantation and Lurene in John Cariani's new play Last Gas at the Penobscot Theatre Company in Maine.
